Maximising Benefits: A Guide to Getting the most out of your Red Light Therapy Panel

Red Light Therapy (RLT) is a promising solution for a variety of health issues, from skin rejuvenation to muscle recovery. However, to achieve the best results, it's crucial to use the correct dosing for your specific ailment. This guide breaks down the optimal dosing recommendations for different use cases, ensuring you reap the maximum benefits of your red light therapy sessions.

Understanding Red Light Therapy

Before diving into the specifics of dosing, it's important to understand what RLT is and how it works. Red light therapy uses low wavelength red light and Infrared light to penetrate the skin, where it can stimulate cellular repair and energy production. This process can help in reducing inflammation, promoting skin health, accelerating healing, and much more.

Breakdown of Different Dosing for Different Use Cases

To ensure you're getting the most out of your RLT sessions, it's important to tailor your approach based on the condition you're addressing. Here's a detailed guide on how to do just that:

Skin (Face/Neck) Anti - Ageing

For facial and neck skin care, position your face and neck directly in front of the panel for 3 minutes every two days. This direct exposure is key to stimulating collagen production and enhancing skin health. If you're incorporating RLT into a longer session for overall wellness, ensure your face is not as close to the panel or is covered for the duration beyond these 3 minutes to avoid overexposure.

Pain/Muscle Joint Injury Recovery

When dealing with pain or recovering from a muscle or joint injury, a more intensive approach is recommended. Position the affected area as close as possible to the panel and undergo a 10-minute session every day. This targeted exposure can significantly aid in reducing inflammation and accelerating the healing process. Once the 10 minutes is up, you can still do an additional 10 minutes infant of the panel to get some more of the systemic benefits just stand a little further away than when you were targeting the muscle or joint injury.

Systemic Benefits

For overall systemic benefits, such as improved energy levels and general wellness, a balanced approach is advised. Spend 10 minutes in front of the panel and another 10 minutes with your back to the panel, maintaining a distance of 6-12 inches from the light source. This ensures a comprehensive exposure that stimulates systemic healing and wellness. If you're combining systemic therapy with targeted injury treatment, start with the 10-minute targeted session followed by the systemic exposure.

Important Considerations

While red light therapy is safe and non-invasive, it's essential to adhere to recommended dosages. Our panels are designed to deliver powerful benefits, but there's a phenomenon known as the Biphasic dose response. This means that after a certain point, additional exposure does not translate to increased benefits. It's harmless to go beyond this point, but it won't enhance the therapeutic effects. Therefore, we recommend sticking closely to the outlined dosages for each specific use case.

By tailoring your red light therapy sessions according to these guidelines, you can maximise the therapeutic benefits while ensuring safety and efficiency. Remember, consistency and correct dosing are key to seeing the best results from your red light therapy regimen
